Mrs. Edith Mae Smith, 72, of Florence, passed away on December 09, 2017 at ECM Hospital. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Killen, Alabama.
Visitation will be at Greenview Funeral Home on Monday, December 11, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. -11:00 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Brother Tim Hanback officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Smith Jr., parents, Buddy Ardell Robertson and Birdie Mae Chandler Robertson; brother, Royce Robertson and niece, Kim Sanderson.
Survivors include her daughter, Christy Leigh Smith; brother, Doyce Robertson both of Florence; sisters, Barbara Hannah (Ronnie) of Killen, Linda Lovelace (Donnie) and Doris Neese (Ricky) all of Florence; sister-in-law, Shirley Robertson and her beloved dog, Bella, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the nurses on the 3rd and 6th floors of ECM Hospital and Dr. Robert Mann for taking such good care of her.
Serving as pallbearers will be Wayne Lovelace, Roger Robertson, Michael Lovelace, Ron Hannah, Fred Brien and Phillip Steele.
Serving as an honorary pallbearer will be Davy Wilson.
