Otis Lee Martin, 80-years-old, passed away Dec. 8, 2017, at Russellville Hospital. Visitation will be Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017, from 6-8 p.m. at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, Alabama. Funeral services will be Monday, Dec. 11, 2017, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Akins Funeral Home. Burial will be in Piney Grove Cemetery.
Otis was born Dec. 30, 1936, in Acton, Tennessee to Edgar Lee and Janie Martin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Martin; his brothers, Paul Smith, Billy Martin, and Allan Martin; and his sister, Helen Gort.
Mr. Martin is survived by daughters, Sharn Martin (Tim) and Karen Chambers (Ricky); his sons, Leslie Martin (Teresa) and Dennis Martin (Sherri); his sister, Lila Wilbanks (Frank); his grandchildren, Michael Martin (Ashley), Becky Martin, Makayla Chambers, and Tara Chambers; and his great-grandchildren, Jordan Wright, Haley Wright, Ellie Hayes, Zoey Martin, and Luna Martin.
Pallbearers will be family.
