Mr. Danny Joe Hodge, age 64, of Spencer, passed away Monday, December 4, 2017, unexpectedly at his home. He was born in Pikeville on April 19, 1953 to Antha Drake and the late James Hodge.
He worked for Van Buren County for many years and was an accomplished musician.
Danny is survived by his wife of 44 years, Margaret Hodge; son, Ross Hodge and Andrea; daughters, Jayme Thomas and Michael, and Adrien Hodge and Jon; grandchildren, Jane, Betty, and Allen Lee, and Clark and Oliver Thomas; sisters, Donna Boles, Reba Childers, and Rachel Sutton.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brothers Eddie Hodge and Grayson Beasley.
There will be a Memorial Service at the Spencer church of Christ Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 2:00PM with Elwin Mahan and RC Christian officiating. There will be a period of visitation with the family prior to the service from 12 until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
