Johnny Wade Ozbirn, 63, died Monday, December 4, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Atwood, Al. and was IT Manager at Sunshine Mills for more than twenty-five years.
Services will be Wednesday, December 6, 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Darren Pollard officiating. Burial will be in Atwood Cemetery, Vina, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are his wife – Janet Ozbirn; one daughter – Alicia Jenkins (Brian); one son – Johnathon Ozbirn (Ashley); four grandchildren – Kyler Jenkins, Kinsley Jenkins, Jon Michael Ozbirn and Brantley Ozbirn; his mother – Margaret Ozbirn; two brothers – Timmy Ozbirn (Diane) and Billy Ozbirn (Barbara) and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Ozbirn, a brother, Ricky Ozbirn and a nephew, Shane Ozbirn.
Pallbearers will be Danny Inman, Larry Creekmore, Jimmy Hardin, June Holland, Lowell Ozbirn, Kenny Sparks and Roger Holland. Honorary pallbearers will be J.T. Miller, Ricky Barker, Tony Turbyfill and Bill Parker.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 6, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
