Buddy Whitten, age 74, Haleyville, AL passed away Saturday, December 02, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Winston County, Alabama on Wednesday, November 17, 1943 to Buddy Lee Whitten and Effie Reynolds Whitten. Visitation will be Monday, December 04, 2017 from 12:30-2:30 p.m. at Marion County Funeral Home. Service will at 2:30 p.m. Marion County Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Whitten officiating. Burial will be in the Ephesus Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Vicky Cagle; siblings, George, Charles; Mack, Gail; and his grandparents. He leaves to cherish his memory, children, Wanda, Landa, George (wife, Tweedy), Michael; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Carlos, Mary, Sue, Peggy, Pearlene, Ellen, Glenda, Shirley, Carrie; girl friend, Frona Cochran and host of nieces, nephews and friends. Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.
