Danny Lee White, 61, died Sunday, December 3, 2017, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born August 30, 1956, to William Lee and Vera Lorece Mink White. He was a long-time employee of Gumtree Fabrics and was a brick mason. He enjoyed reading, scrap metal, and a friendly game of pool.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday, December 6, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. Wayne Thorn and Bro. Jared White officiating. Burial will be in the Union Grove Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda White; one daughter, Emily White of Fulton; two sons, Josh Worthey of Fulton and Bill Worthey (Jessica) of Fairview; two step-daughters, Amy Lewis (Tony) and Jennifer Newcomb, both of Fulton; a step-son, Justin Burlison of Mantachie; two brothers, Jerry White (Lisa) of Mantachie and Tony White (Judith) of Tupelo; 9 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers will be Brandon White, Justin White, Blake White, Casey Smith, Billy Joe White, and George White. Honorary pallbearers will be Dave Justice, Martin (Lurch), Roger Clifford, Jeff (BoDean), and Rusty Rogers.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home in Mantachie.
