Cardia Lamont Smith, II, age 32, of Columbia, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Cardia was born December 29, 1984 in Terre Haute, IN, the son of Georgett Bean Smith of Bogart, GA, and the late Cardia Lamont Smith, Sr. He worked as a Personal Assistant for Tennessee Personal Assistance, an agency that services individuals with disabilities. He was a volunteer at Morning Pointe Assisted Living, helping with bingo. His life attitude was one of helpfulness, being generous always. He was a wonderful father figure and friend to many. Cardia never said goodbye, instead he always said “Holla”.
