Rayburn A. “Ray” Dugger, of Mount Pleasant, Tennessee passed away on November 29, 2017, at his residence surrounded by his family.

Ray was born on January 23, 1937 to the late Robert “Bob” and Alene Dugger.

Ray enjoyed working hard. More than anything, he enjoyed spending time with his Grandchildren and seven Great Grandchildren, with two more Great Grandchildren on the way. Ray graduated from Haylong High School. He served ten years in the United States Air Force. He retired from Union Carbide in 2001 after 34 years.

Ray leaves behind his loving wife of sixty one years: Geraldine Dugger; Children: Mike (Cindy) Dugger, Phyllis (Jay) Greene and Robby (Tammy) Dugger; Grandchildren: Katie (Scott) Beasley, Caleb (Morgan) Dugger, Kelley (Tony) Gray, Sawyer (Jenny) Greene, Adam Runions, Tiffany (Colton) Watson and Haleigh (Andrew) Giles; Great Grandchildren: Baleigh and Griffin Gray, Karsen, Lane and Eli Greene and Mason and Kaylen Runions ; Brothers: Charlie (Marion) Dugger, John (Linda) Dugger and Sister: Barbara Baker as well as Sister in law and Brother in law Terry and Linda Tidwell; Sister in law: Irene Dugger and numerous nieces and nephews. Ray was preceded in death by his Parents: Robert and Alene Dugger and Brothers: Lee, Richard, Jimmy and Odell Dugger.

The family will visit with friends on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 1:00pm at Barnesville Cemetery in Summertown.

Pallbearers will include Sawyer Greene, Caleb Dugger, Adam Runions, Scott Beasley, Tony Gray and Terry Tidwell. Honorary pallbearers are Coworkers and Friends of Union Carbide, Dr. Robert Bain and Office Staff at the Mount Pleasant Office and all who knew him.
