Carlton Louis Dykes, 58, died Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at his residence. He was born December 15, 1958 in Red Bay, AL and was a truck driver. He was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church, Golden, MS.

Services will be Saturday, December 2, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Walter Sparks officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Golden, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are two children – Selena Hensley (Patrick) and Carl Wayne Dykes (Leigh Ann); five grandchildren – Karrissa Hensley, Brody Hensley, Madison Dykes, Carl Wayne Dykes, Jr. and Alexis Dykes; his mother – Lovie Dykes; six brothers and sisters – David Dykes (Angela), Marvin Dykes (Kathy), Sandra Vick (Ricky), Brenda Snook (Rusty), Cinda McCarley (Joey) and Terry Dykes (Dena) and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela K. Dykes, his father, Marvin Edward Dykes and a brother, Kenneth Dale Dykes.

Pallbearers will be David Dykes, Patrick Hensley, Daniel Markham, Stephen Vick, Jarrett Rogers, Cody Vick and Chris Cochran.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 2, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL
