Carl Ralph Hutson – Obituary

Carl Ralph Hutson, age 95, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Merit Health Gilmore Memorial Hospital in Amory, Mississippi.
He was born on November 6, 1922 in Itawamba County to Alver Elvin Hutson and Willie Lee Foster Hutson. He married Dorothy Wilson on September 5, 1943 and they were married for 72 years. He farmed until he and Dorothy moved to Zion, Illinois in 1950. He was a retiree of Nosco Printing Company of Waukegan, Illinois.
He and Dorothy became members of Grace Missionary Church in Zion, Illinois in 1966 where Rev. Clinton Bell was their pastor. He retired in 1992 and he and his wife Dorothy (affectionately known to him as Dottie) moved back to Mississippi and made Liberty Grove Baptist Church their home church. As long as his health permitted, he enjoyed raising cattle, keeping the lawn looking neat, growing a garden, and caring for his cats. He also enjoyed collecting and playing his fiddles.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton. Visitation will be from 12:00 until service time.Bro. Bobby Fowler and Bro. Jackie Gray will be officiating. Burial will be in the Liberty Grove Cemetery.

Survivors include several nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Wilson Hutson, who died in 2015; one sister, Eddie Mae Brown; one brother, John B. Hutson; his parents and Grandparents.

Pallbearers will be A. J. (Junior) Brown, Danny Joe Brown, Ronnie Brown, Windell Hutson, Tom Jackson, Noel Kennedy, Tommy Poole, Benjie Poole, John Anthony and Tony Enis.
