Mrs. Martha Dell Thigpen Wesley, age 85, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017 at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg. She was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, retired from Salant & Salant and Kay Windsor. She was a lifetime member of Salem Church of Christ and also a caregiver at the Girl’s Christian Home for many years.
Mrs. Wesley was the daughter of the late William Clinton and Idella McGee Thigpen. She is also preceded in death by her sisters; Artie Treptau, Elizabeth Slagle, Eva Poland, Ora Graham Young, Opal Mayberry, Lucy Goode, and Elba Priest.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Salem Church of Christ. Funeral services will be conducted at Salem Church of Christ at 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 29, 2017, with Gary Poland, Jerry Taylor, and Keith Barnett officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Lawrence County, Tennessee. Family suggests memorials be made to A Kid’s Place/A Child Advocacy Center, 614 West Point Road, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464.
