Jerry Holley – Obituary

Jerry Holley of Pulaski passed away Saturday evening, November 25, 2017, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System Pulaski. He was born June 24th, 1931 in the Diana Community and was 86 years old. He was the owner/operator of J & J Truck Stop for 15 years. He was a U.S Army veteran and served in the Korean War, former county commissioner of Pulaski, and was an avid news watcher.
Visitation will be Monday, November 27th from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be Tuesday, November 28th at 11:00am in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
The burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery with full military honors.
He was preceded in death by;
His wife Joyce Tompkins Holley. Parents Louis Rogers and Velna Whitworth Holley. Sisters Martha Delaney, Deloris Beckham, and Elwyona Lanier along with his brother Carl Holley and son-in-law, Ed Martin.
He is survived by;
Daughters, Wanda Martin of Pulaski.
Shawn Holley of Pulaski.
Tina Holley and Bobby Beech of Pulaski.
Grandchildren, Jeremy M. Chapman, Bryan Wolaver, Blake Wolaver, Holly Chapman, Meredith Adgent, and Brock Griggs.
6 great-grandchildren
Brother, Ronnie(Barbara) Holley of Pulaski.
Sister, Willa Mae Greene of Pulaski
Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Jerry Holley.
