Wallace A. Freeman – Obituary

Wallace A. Freeman, 84, born Aug. 4, 1933, in Anderson, Alabama, died Nov. 22, 2017. He was a member of Bonnertown Baptist Church. He retired from Reynolds Metal Company and TVA. He served two years in the U.S. Army and fought in the Korean War.

Mr. Freeman’s visitation will be held at Bonnertown Baptist Church today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the funeral immediately following. Burial will be in Bonnertown Cemetery. Chris Joiner will be officiating.

Mr. Freeman was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Belle Freeman; sisters, Lanee Rayburn and Stella Mangrum; and brother, Ottis Freeman.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Earlene Shook Freeman; son, Roger (Vanessa) Freeman; daughter, Dianne (Gerald) Glover; grandchildren, Tiffany (Lance) James and Tabbatha (Chuck) Benson; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Kindred Hospice or Bonnertown Baptist Church.
