William “Bill” Willis, 62, of Florence, passed away on November 22, 2017 at his residence. He graduated from Mars Hill Bible School in 1973 and he was an electrician. He was a member of Petersville Church of Christ and he served our nation as a member of the United States Air Force. He enjoyed watching his daughters playing sports over the years. He was a big Alabama football fan.
There will be a memorial service at Petersville Church of Christ on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with Sonny Owens officiating.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Willis and his grandparents, Andrew Irons and Estelle Irons and Ada Willis and Emmet Willis.
Survivors include his mother, Dorothy “Dot” Willis; daughters, Alesha Jefferies and Stephanie Willis; sisters, Sherry Watkins and Donna Kamauoha; grandchildren, Cassidee Jefferies and expecting the arrival of Logan Jefferies in January 2018.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Shoals.
