Roland Mardis, 89, of Moulton passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Parkway Medical Center in Decatur. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Lawrence Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at Montgomery Cemetery with Donie L. Harville officiating.
Mr. Mardis was the owner of Mardis and Sons Used Cars. He also worked as a migrant farmer during the 1950’s.
Survivors include his children, Margaret Mardis, Janice Swims (Gary), and Michael Mardis; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one brother, four sisters, several nieces and nephews and his fur kids, Benji, B.B. and Maggie.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sue Mardis; second wife, Willodean Mardis; and son, Ronnie Mardis.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Harville, Austin Harville, Keith Harville, Cory Sinard, Sean Ballinger, and Chris Westmoreland.
