On Friday, November 17, 2017, Lorinne Fanning Lilly went to be with our Lord joining her beloved husband, George; her twin sister, Corinne Fanning; and sisters, Marguerite Martin, Joy Daniel, and Elizabeth Lee; her brothers, Orville Fanning and Howard Fanning; and her parents, William and Cora Tipps Fanning.
After graduating from Huntsville High in 1943, she attended business college in Nashville, TN where she met George. She worked as a personal secretary and office administrator at several businesses all throughout her life. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church Huntsville where she grew up and was actively involved in Presbyterian Women, teaching Bible Studies and volunteer activities for many years.
She is survived by her son, George David Lilly of Huntsville; daughter, Susan Lilly Berrian and husband, Taff, of Pensacola, FL; and grandson, Nathanael Berrian of Orlando, FL.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church, Huntsville.
