Virginia Lorene Agent Collins, 76, former clerk at Kwik Sak and resident of Bass Drive, died Sunday, November 19, 2017, at Life Care Center of Columbia.
A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday at 1:00 P.M. at Friendship Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Kane officiating. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home.

Born November 21, 1940, in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Lester Nathaniel Agent and the late Willie Mae Fitzgerald Agent Buell. She was a 1961 graduate of Columbia Central High School. Lorene loved taking care of children and assisted her sister with a home daycare for several years. She also enjoyed reading and drawing. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sisters, Linda Adkison (Shane) Hester of Columbia, Ruby (James) Cates of Chapel Hill, Joyce (Steven) Jarrell of Lewisburg; and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, William Ray Collins, Jr., and brothers, Lester Agent, Larry Agent, Wayne Agent.
