Robert “Rob” Bohannon – Obituary

Rob Bohannon, age 27, resident of Spring Hill, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at his residence.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Robin Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Peace in Maury Memorial Gardens, located adjacent to the funeral home.  A visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 -7:00 PM at the funeral home and again on Saturday from 12PM until the 2PM service. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Rob was born December 26, 1989 in Indiana and was the son of Michael Bohannon and Susannah Robbins Bohannon.  He graduated from Spring Hill High School in 2008 and worked as a plumber for Lee Company in Franklin.  He ran cross country and was in the marching band in school. He was an Eagle Scout and currently serving as the Den Leader for his son’s Cub Scout Den in Chapel Hill.  He refereed middle school soccer and enjoyed the outdoors.  He was a free spirited guy that everyone wanted to be around.  His sisters described him as being the life of the party.  He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

Along with his parents, he is survived by his grandparents: Patricia Bohannon of IN and David Robbins of CA; son: Ashton Jacob Bohannon of Chapel Hill; sisters: Sarah (Cody) Burke of Columbia and Michelle Bohannon (Benjamin Dunn) of Chapel Hill; niece: Danielle Burke; and nephew: Landon Burke.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather: Robert Bohannon; grandmother: Marilyn Robbins; and step grandmother: Mary Jo Robbins.

Pallbearers will be: Michael Bohannon, Cody Burke, Adam Mischke, Ben Dunn, Michael Haggarty, and Jay Kloby.
