Betty Faye Long – Obituary

Betty Faye Long, 60, died Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Fulton, MS and was a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was a member of Tishomingo Baptist Church, Tishomingo, MS.

Services will be Friday, November 17, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Robbie Crane and Royce Howie officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Iuka, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are her husband – Herman Long, Iuka, MS; three children – Kevin Daniel, Lisa Bishop and Cody Daniel; two step-daughters – Heather Kamarainen and Eugenea Pearson; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters – Martha Greenwood, Saltillo, MS and Elizabeth McCarley, Hamilton, AL; two brothers – Johnny West, Tupelo, MS and Carl West, Iuka, MS and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rupert West and Marie Murphy and a sister, Janice Pounders.

Pallbearers will be Danny Denington, Dillon Horn, Alton Roberts, Mark Greenwood, Nick Daniel, Carl West and Johnny West. Honorary pallbearer will be P.J. McCarley.

The family extends special thanks to Tishomingo Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 16, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.

SILVIANO BERISTAIN

BELMONT, MS – Silviano Beristain, 53, died Saturday, November 4, 2017, in Corinth, MS.  He was born in Veracruz, Mexico to Silviano Beristain and Maximina Morales.  He was a store owner and operator in Corinth for 17 years.

Services will be Monday, November 6, 12 noon at St. James Catholic Church in Tupelo, MS with Father Timothy Murphy officiating.  Burial will be in St. Thomas cemetery in Saltillo, MS.  Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his parents, Silviano Beristain and Maximina Morales; his wife, Patricia Hernandez de Beristain; two sons, Luis Eduardo Beristain and Christopher Beristain; three brothers, Alejandro Beristain (Norma), Luis Antonio Beristain and Carlos Beristain and two sisters, Alicia Beristain (Ricardo Hernandez) and Erika Beristain (Jesús Roman).

Visitation will be Sunday, November 5, from 5-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
