James Michael Windsor 69, of Decatur passed away Monday November 13, 2017 at Tutt-Fann Veterans Home in Huntsville. Mr. Windsor was born February 5, 1948 in Decatur, Alabama to Herman and Annie Laura Windsor. Mr. Windsor was a Marine veteran of Vietnam, he attended Antioch United Methodist Church and was previously employed by BE&K Construction. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Jamey Yancy Windsor; a brother, Vance Windsor and a sister, Janice Ann Windsor. He is survived by his sister, Francine Gilchrist and her husband Skeggs; a brother, Reverend Vandon Windsor and wife Jean and a sister-in-law, Loretta Windsor; also several nieces and nephews and very good friends. A memorial service will be Sunday, November 19,2017 at 2:00pm at the Antioch United Methodist Church with a reception following. Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.
