Tincy Lorene Chambers, 68, of Haleyville, entered into rest on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Medical West in Bessemer, Alabama.
Mrs. Chambers was born on November 23, 1948, in Haleyville. Tincy was a lifelong member of Cherry Hill Church of God. She enjoyed singing, attending church functions and calling or visiting the sick.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 from 5pm-7pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be held at 7pm. Brother Royce Brimer will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Double Springs.
Tincy is survived by her step son, Eugene Chambers; step daughter, Rose Carpenter; step grandchildren, John Chambers, Ashley Chambers, Todd Carpenter; step great grandchildren, Sarah Borden, Katelyn Borden, Ally Chambers, Aden Chambers, Gracelyn Owens; nephews, Timothy Mitchell, Jonathan Mitchell, Larry Matthews; nieces, Rebekah Hammack, Ruth Grace, Rachel Hammack, Rhonda Mitchell and Shelia Phillips.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Buford Chambers; son, David Brandon Chambers; step son, Dennis Chambers; step granddaughter, Sherry Chambers; step great granddaughter, Felecia Borden; parents, Robert “Link” and Mary Ward Matthews; brothers, Bobby Matthews, Larry Matthews and one sister Mary Lou Mitchell.
