Mrs. Frances Marie Thomas, 79, passed away Sunday November 12, 2017 at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 7, 1938 to Thomas and Mary Zingale who preceded her in death along with her son, Jeff Shrum; daughter, Cathy Holt; grandson, Daniel Shelton; sister, Adeline Zingale; husband, Bill Thomas; first husband and father of her children, Carl Bailey Shrum.
She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Estill Springs, Tennessee.
She is survived by her son, Carl L. Shrum; daughter, Mary Lynn Nevin; brother, Charles “Chuck” (Susan) Zingale; sisters, Patty and Carol Young; 13 grandchildren, Derrick, Dawn, Timothy, Sara, Carla, Jessica, Danalyne, David, Donna, Justin and Crystal; 30 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday at the Faith Baptist Church in Estill Springs with Minister Randy Jackson officiating with burial to follow in the Palmer Cemetery, Palmer, Tennessee.
