Juanita Estelle Dodson – Obituary

Juanita Estelle Dodson, 96, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017, at the North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice. She was born November 4, 1921, to William Albert and Lottie Miller McKinney. She was a homemaker and member of Centerville Baptist Church. She married Quinton Dodson on September 9, 1941. She enjoyed sewing.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 15, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. Greg Jones and Bro. Eddie Boutwell officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Dodson (Wanda) and Jeffery Dodson (Lisa), both of Ratliff; one daughter, Janet Kimbrough (Chris) of Shannon; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Billy McKinney of Plantation, FL; and a special friend, Rachel Leathers.

She was preceded in death by her husband Quinton; her parents; two brothers, Charlie Booker McKinney (Jeanette) and William Elvin McKinney (Faye); and one sister-in-law, Katie McKinney.

Pallbearers will be Steve Stanford, Britt Curtis, Jerry Buse, Nicky Nichols, Tony Nichols, and Phil Harbor.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
