Travis Colburn, 103-years-old, passed away Nov. 8, 2017, at Russellville Hospital. Visitation will be Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017, from 1-2 p.m. at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, Alabama. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2 p.m. in Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Coy Morgan officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Colburn was born Feb. 12, 1914, in Franklin County, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ruby Colburn.
Travis is survived by his daughters, Betty Stevenson, of Waterloo, and Lois Journey, of Orange Beach; grandchildren, Nancy Pugh, of Atlanta, Naomi Kasky (Jay), of Pedasi, Panama, and Nina Jackson, of Birmingham; two great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
