Zachariah Lee Reeves; 21 years of age; was arrested today for the sexual assault of an elderly person at Mitchell Hollingsworth Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Reeves is a CNA at the facility and was working there when the sexual assault occurred on November 2, 2017. Reeves is charged with Sodomy 1st and Elder Abuse 2nd. His bond is $60,000.

.) Has he admitted to his crime or what has he told you in questioning? Mr. Reeves did not wish to make a statement.

.) How tragic is this crime? Like how does it make you feel? Anytime some is abused in any physical or mental way it is a tragedy. Like most crimes it is very upsetting to see.

.) What did the elder abuse charge stem from? We do not want to cause him or his family any undue stress or worries so I cannot go into the details at this time. Like did he break any of the victim’s limbs etc.? No

.) Was this his first job or has he worked at any other medical/nursing facilities? We are still looking into his background.
