Ann Shirley Mosier – Obituary

Ann Shirley Mosier, 80, resident of the Blue Mountain Community and wife of the late Robert Mosier, Sr., passed away Saturday November 4, 2017 at the residence of her daughter following a brief illness.
Private Family Funeral Services are planned and burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Angola, NY. Arrangements will be provided by The Ripley Funeral Home.
A native of Buffalo, NY, Mrs. Mosier was born November 13, 1936, the oldest child of thirteen to the late Jon “Boxie” and Bernice Hill Hackemer. A graduate of Lake Shore Central High School in New York State, she was a resident Florida for a number of years where she was employed by the Lake Okeechobee School District before her retirement ten years ago. Mrs. Mosier moved to Tippah County two years ago to reside with her daughter and family.
A Catholic, Mrs. Mosier had a love for her grandchildren and playing Bingo was a favorite pasttime.
Those left to chrish her memory include her children, JoAnn Hein (Allen) of Blue Mountain and Robert Mosier (Phyllis) of Spring, TX, four sisters, three brothers, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Mrs. Mosier was also preceded in death by five sisters.
