Frances Louise Hudson Coleman, 91, of Huntsville, passed away Tuesday. Mrs. Coleman came to Huntsville in 1963 from Selma, AL. She attended Montevallo College. She worked for 35 years with South Central Bell, and retired as Assistant Manager of Business Services in 1983. She was an active member of Telephone Pioneers of America, a public service organization. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Mrs. Coleman was preceded in death by her husband, James Elliot Coleman. Survivors include her children, Richard L. Coleman (Lucy), and Ceil Ann Cooper (Donny); two grandsons; one granddaughter; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. There will be a private family burial.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
