Funeral for Billy Ray Higginbotham, 80, of Hartselle will be Thursday, November 9, 2017, at Parkway Funeral Home, at 2:00 PM with Rev. Shane Williams officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be two hours before the service at the funeral home. Mr. Higginbotham, who died Sunday, November 5, 2017, at his residence, was born Wednesday, September 29, 1937, to William Hubert Higginbotham and Ettice Juniata Stanford Higginbotham.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wife – Katherine Higginbotham and Daughter – Trina Wells
Survivors include:
3 Sons – Henry Higginbotham, Billy Higginbotham and John Higginbotham
4 Daughters – Belinda Johnson, Betty Hammond, Rita Simon, Annette Sanchez
5 Brothers – Earl Higginbotham, Kent Higginbotham, Doyce Higginbotham, Tony Higginbotham and Donald Higginbotham
2 Sisters – Bobbie Lee and Carol Borden
19 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Olen Kilpatrick, Ryan Ewing, John Higginbotham, Byron Johnson, Henry Higginbotham and Billy Higginbotham
