ATHENS-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a one-vehicle accident that took the life of a nineteen-year-old man near Athens on Sunday, November 5:
” A single-vehicle crash at 6:50 p.m. Sunday, November 5, has claimed the life of a Somerville man.
Aaron James Garlen, 19, was killed when the 2009 Mazda 6i he was driving left the roadway on U.S. 72 and overturned. Garlen was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred east of Athens city limits. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.”
