Mildred Thomas, 101 of Elkmont, Alabama died on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at her home.
Born Saturday, October 7, 1916 in Ardmore, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late LLoyd Brock and the late Quilla Biggerstaff Brock. She was the wife of the late James (Peanut) Thomas. She lived in the Ardmore area most all her life and was a member of Community Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Thomas of Decatur, AL, daughter, Barbara(Walter) Simpson of Elkmont, AL, 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, November 3, 2017, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, 27186 Main Street, Ardmore, Alabama.
