Mrs. Abernathy passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017, at her home. She loved to sew and help other but she especially loved her family, including grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her daughter, Rosa Shaver (Neal) and Debra Andriulli (Louis); brother, Mike Snow; sister, Lisa Leak; 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, John E. Abernathy and her parents, Pat and Irene Snow.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.
