Cobey Sanchez Hall, 41, of Hartselle transitioned from this life at 2:23 p.m. Oct. 27, 2017 at Decatur Morgan Hospital.

Funeral will be today, Nov. 1, 2017 at 4 p.m. at James Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Athens with Jackson Memory Funeral Home directing. He will be placed in the church one hour prior to his funeral.

Cobey had an inseparable bond with his son, Cobey “Pop” Hall, Jr. He was devoted to his wife of 11 years, Michelle Stover Hall and his stepchildren. He was a member of James Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Athens. He was employed by Sonoco Products, Hartselle. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Carmichael; his grandfather, Daniel R. Hall, Sr.; aunt, Tammy Carmichael; uncles, Daniel R. Hall, Jr. and Anthony L. “Tony” Hall.

Mourning his loss are his wife, Michelle; children, Cobey Jr., Kandita Stover, Kandace Stover, Javarris Stover and Masio Stover; grandchildren, Aniah and Amari Cunningham, Emmanuel, Ebony and Lewis Jackson; his mother, Ada Hall Jackson; brothers and sisters, Steven “Snoop” (Terri) Hall, Kelly Hall (Gerald) Cunningham, Robert Carmichael Jr., Marty Hinch, Casey Kyle and Danielle William; maternal grandmother, Mamaw Ruth E. Hall; paternal grandmother, Nanny Anna Ruth Dedrick; mother-in-law, Florida “Ms. Sue” Stover; sisters-in-law, Sharon (Jeffrey) Young, Carolyn Cooper, LaShonda Stover, Stephanie Stover, Adrienne Stover, Dana Stover, Antonia Lampkin and Harriet Lampkin; uncles, William “Eddie” Hall, Walter Hall, George Hall, Robert Hall Sr., John Brent Hall and Phillip Hall; aunts, Amy L. Hall, Mary E. Hall and Roberta K. Hall; paternal uncle and aunt, Scotty Carmichael and Marilyn; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
