Joyce Vernell Earnest, 68, died Monday, October 30, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Tishomingo County, MS and worked as a seamstress for twenty years.
Services will be Wednesday, November 1, 12 noon at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Rex Leitner officiating. Burial will be in Joel Cemetery, Dennis, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are four children – Donna Blunt (Kenneth) Tishomingo, MS, Ethel Sue Miller, Golden, MS, Dellie Jean Earnest, Tremont, MS and Danny Earnest, Fairview, MS; loving father of her children – Thurman Wayne Earnest; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and three sisters – Betty Davis, Iuka, MS, Berniece Spence, Counce, TN and Freda Renshaw, St. Louis, MO.
Pallbearers will be Lowland Earnest, Scott Goodin, Kaleb Reid, Preston Miller, Joseph Miller and Josh McCreary.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 1, 10-12 noon at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
