Floyce “Nanny” Akins , age 90, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Sunday, September 16, 2012 at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a homemaker, and a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Samuel and Shellie Ann Lanier Nix; her husband, Bill Akins; and one son, Billy Nix.
