Harry Turner of Pulaski passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia TN. He was born in Pulaski, TN on August 14, 1948 and was 69 years old.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed carving and whittling, singing his own songs, and he loved people and never seemed to meet a stranger.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 27, 2017 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 28th from 11:00am until12:00pm with the funeral service to follow at First Baptist Church with Elizabeth Raybon officiating
Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleveland and Martha Mae Coleman Turner, and special friend, Mary Sid Scoggin.
He is survived by his,
Devoted wife of 50 years, Janice Turner of Pulaski
Son, Harry Dewayne (Crystal) Turner of Pulaski
Son, Ronnie Dean (Rhonda) Turner of Pulaski
Grandchildren, Martez Turner, Kirkland Turner, Cameron Turner, Trevez Turner, Karmeja Turner, Falancio Turner, Layla Harris, and Raylon Harris.
4 Great grandchildren
Sister, Gladys Holt of Pulaski
Sister, Mary (James) Bryant of Pulaski
Brother, Herbert (Edna) Gilbert of Nashville
Brother, Timmy Turner of Florence, AL
Host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and devoted friends also survived.
Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home in charge of arrangements for Harry Turner.
