-The Florence Police Department released a statement concerning a Burglary call from October 14 resulting in the arrest of three suspects:
“On October 14, 2017, at approximately 4:45 pm, Florence Police responded to a medical assist call that turned into a Burglary incident. Victim stated that three males arrived at his residence to recover some items. When the victim stated that the items were not there he attempted to shut the door. At that time one of the males, forced his way into the residence and the other males followed. At that time the three males started hitting him in the face and body. A family member arrived and attempted to help the victim but also was assaulted during the fight.
The three males then left the residence without recovering the items they came for. Both victims were transported to ECM hospital for treatment.

All three men have been arrested on warrants for Burglary 1st and Assault 3rd and have bonded out of the Detention Center.”
