Toyota dominates Consumer Reports reliability survey – Local dealers play a big part

TUSCUMBIA – University Toyota’s management and staff are understandably proud of the latest Consumer Reports survey. According tho the world’s leading product standards reviewer, CR has announced, for the 5th year in a row, that Toyota and Lexus rank as the top 2 brands for reliability.

“We are very pleased that Consumer Reports has once again placed Toyota and Lexus at the top, said Kurt Bowman,” General Manager of University Toyota. He said, “Our team here, from one end of the customer service spectrum to the other is committed to the philosophy of continuous improvement and complete Customer satisfaction.”

Trade publication, Automotive News reported, “The 2017 results were announced at an Automotive Press Association luncheon in Detroit on Thursday.

Toyota led the way with a predicted new-car reliability score of 80 on a 100-point scale, with Toyota’s luxury brand Lexus right behind at 77. In last year’s ranking, Lexus was No. 1 and Toyota was No. 2.”
