Mr. Robert Milford Kelley
Mr. Kelley, 96, of Guntersville passed away at Shepherd’s Cove on Sunday. He was a member of Creek Path Baptist Church. He was a US Army veteran of Korean War. He earned the Army Commendation Medal for Meritorius Service. Mr. Kelley was a member of the State of Alabama Korean War Legion of Honor. He also was a Civitan International medallion member for 25 years. He was a former mayor of Guntersville. He was preceded in death by his wife- Beatrice Smith Kelley and second Opal Huff Kelley, four brothers- Gordon Kelley, Paul Kelley, James Kelly and Ray Kelley.
He is survived by his two sons- Phillip Barry Kelley (Betty Pearce Kelley) and Judson Solomon Kelley(Mischa Edmondson Kelley) and daughter Rebekah Kelley Marsh (Richard Preston Marsh); 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be Wednesday at 4:00pm at Creek Path Baptist Church with Rick Douglas Officiating. The visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00pm till 8:00pm at Carr Funeral Home Guntersville. The burial will be in Pleasant Hill #2 cemetery.
