Funeral services for Mrs. Zula Mae Blankenship, age 94, are scheduled for 4 PM, Saturday, October 21, 2017 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington with Bro. Mark Woods officiating. Interment will follow in Henderson County Memory Gardens. Mrs. Blankenship passed away late Wednesday in Lexington. She was born April 6, 1923 in Henderson County to the late Willie B. and Sally Doyle Bledsoe. She was retired from Johnson Controls and a member of Old Jacks Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Herbert Blankenship and three sisters, Lounell Hamm, Raymell Little, and Evie Little. Survivors include her daughter, Janet Woods (Mark); two sisters, Ruth Little and Wilma McPeake; three grandchildren, Cristy Halters Costello (Chris), Mandy Halters McIntosh (Scott), and Heath Halters; and two great grandchildren, Caden Costello and Lincoln McIntosh.
