Eugene Davis, Jr., 73, died Monday, October 16, 2017, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born July 26, 1944 in Chickasaw County to Eugene and Doris Davis. He was a U S Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was a salesman for Triangle for many years. He enjoyed watching sports and woodworking.
Services will be 1 PM Saturday, October 21, 2017, at the Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Elisha Thomas officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be in Lee Memorial Park. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Rosa Davis of Shannon; two sisters, Barbara Bruce and Effie Robertson both of Shannon; one brother, Rickey Davis of Shannon; 3 nieces and 7 nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Bettye Davis; two brothers, Tommy Davis and Rinnie Davis.
Pallbearers will be Turell Davis, Chavaka Davis, Tavares Davis, Roderick Johnson, Brandon Johnson and Ronald Davis.
Visitation will be 4 – 6 Friday.
