Margaret Franks Hubbard was born on September 14, 1933 and passed away on October 15, 2017. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home Chapel with burial in Riverton Cemetery. Pastor Randal Michael and Pastor Chuck Lansdell officiating.
Margaret was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She retired from Genesco Shoe Co. after 49 years of Service. She was a member of the East Side Baptist Church and attended Riverton Community Church.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Jesse Hawn and Paul Hubbard; parents, Oscar and Julia James Franks; brothers, Ray and Earl Franks; sisters, Judy Franks and Betty Sue Pilgram.
She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Johnson (Jerome), Tuscumbia, Peggy Maynor (David), Cherokee, Al; brothers, Roy, Kenny, and Jo Franks; sisters, Frances McGarity, Jewel Dean, and Carolyn Guion; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren. She leaves behind a number of friends and family.
Pallbearers will be Rick Vandiver, Greg Lacey, Collin Maynor, Chandler Hawn, Raney Hawn, and Willie Evans. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kenny Franks, Jerome Johnson, Jesse Hawn, and David Maynor.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Alzheimer Foundation. A special thanks to the staff of Kindred Hospice of Florence and all the visits from friends and family.
