Ellawee Steen, 78, passed away on Oct. 11, 2017, surrounded by her husband, children and grandchildren.
Ellawee was born on March 11, 1939, the youngest of 14 children. Ellawee was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Lula Barringer, and 13 siblings.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Buster Steen; her three children, Belinda Doyle (Mike), Allen Steen (Mandy), and Amanda Woodard (Ronnie); her six grandchildren, Justin Littrell (Emily), Niki Doyle, Johnny Steen (Nicole), Daniel Steen (Emily), Haleigh Woodard, and Trey Woodard; her two great-grandchildren, Braxton Steen and Eliza Mae Littrell; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Burial will be in Butler Cemetery. Waylon Hill and David Lash will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Justin Littrell, Johnny Steen, Daniel Steen, Trey Woodard, Ronnie Woodard, and Mike Doyle. Burial will follow in Butler Cemetery with the Steen family.
