Robert Allen Ryan age 69 of Athens, passed away Friday October 13, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Ryan was born December 25, 1947 in Jefferson County, AL to Zernie Franklin Ryan and Helen Landrum Ryan.
Services will be Monday, October 16, 2017 12:00 p.m., at Sardis Springs Baptist Church with Tim Keenum and Bro. Frank Ryan officiating. Visitation will be Monday, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. prior to the service. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home assisting the family.
Mr. Ryan was a member of Sardis Springs Baptist Church.
Survived by his wife, Marsha Ryan of Athens; one daughter, LuAmy Sager and husband, Jason of Rogersville, AL; two sons, Jonathan Craig Ryan and wife Heather of Elkmont, AL and Joseph Houston Ryan, Sr. and wife, Kiera of Hueytown, AL.; six grandchildren who were called his “Pet Jacks”, Ashley, Lane, J.R., Ally, Kadie and Kendyl; two sisters, Susan Franklin of Oak Grove, AL and Pat Jebeles and husband, Jim of Birmingham, AL; two brothers, Jim Ryan and wife, Peggy of Cullman, AL and Frank Ryan and wife Kathleen of Madison, AL.
