Decatur Police Asking Public’s Help In Locating Missing Teen

Irma Maria Diego-Gomez

DECATUR-The Decatur Police released a statement concerning a missing 14-year-old girl on Wednesday, October 11.  They are asking for the public’s help in locating this girl.

“On 10/11/2017, 14-year-old Irma Maria Diego-Gomez was reported missing to the Decatur Police Department. Diego-Gomez was last seen at approximately 7:45 AM when she left for school in Decatur. When Diego-Gomez did not arrive home in the afternoon it was discovered that she never arrived at school. The Decatur Police Department would like to request help from the public in locating Diego-Gomez. Anyone with knowledge of the location of Diego-Gomez please contact the Decatur Police Department at (256) 341-4660. 

 

Irma Maria Diego-Gomez is a Guatemalan female, under 5 feet tall, slim build.  She has shoulder length black hair and brown eyes.  Diego-Gomez was last seen wearing a red/black plaid shirt and blue jeans.   It is unknown if she is in the company of anyone at this time. Diego-Gomez does not reside with her family in Alabama.  She does have family in Guatemala.”
