Ghostly activities have been reported at the historic building that has served as an electrical power plant, U.S. Naval Reserve station and a recording and movie production studio. During the trolley ride, award-winning journalist and author, Bernie Delinski, will share some of his stories about Shoals ghosts.

Susann Hamlin, president and CEO of Colbert Tourism, said the tour is family friendly.

“The tour is an excellent way to kick off the Halloween season, learn about the music that makes our area famous and hear a few ghost stories” Hamlin said. “There are spirits of past inhabitants the Shoals that are just dying to be discovered during the tour.”
