Mrs. Violet Elizebeth Simms age 92, of Crossville, Alabama, died on Friday, October 6, 2017 at Shepherd’s Cove.A private family service will be held in Ohio at a later date.
Mrs. Simms was born in Athens County, Ohio on November 30, 1924 to John & Nancy Hopkins Smith. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Simms is survived by her: Son: Henry (Joan) Simms of Crossville, Daughters: Melody (Debra) Burch-Crutchfield of Boaz and Sheila (Allen) Bennett of Crossville, 12 Grandchildren, Several Great Grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. Mrs. Simms was preceded in death by her Husband: Henry Simms, Sr.
