Pauline Sartain Jackson, 90, Red Bay, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at Helen Keller Hospital. She was born May 4, 1922, to A.G. and Vira Sartain. She was a lifelong member of Red Bay Church of Christ.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Phillip Hathcock, Herbert Trulove and Ron Deaton officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Red Bay. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are three daughters, Paula Moxley (Eddie), of Belmont, Martha Bullen (Randy), of Hammond, La., and Margaret Brown (Wesley), of Fayette; six grandchildren, Alan Russell (Liz), Chris Russell, Carol Davis (Walt), Thomas Bullen (Kelly), Valarie Graziano (Philip), Carla Crawford (Joel); 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Eva Shook and Esta Lee Page (Neal); three sisters-in-law, Peggy Rice, Ann Jackson and Jean Hubbard; one brother-in-law, Luther Jackson (Doris); and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Clyde E. Jackson, her parents, two brothers, Kenneth Sartain and Clayton Sartain, and one sister, Alean Sartain.
Pallbearers will be Alan Russell, Chris Russell, Walt Davis, Philip Graziano, Thomas Bullen, Joel Crawford, David Cupples, William Russell and Collin Russell. Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Moxley, Randy Bullen, Wesley Brown and her nephews.
Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
