NW-SCC hosted inaugural high school business division competition

MUSCLE SHOALS – Northwest-Shoals Community College’s (NW-SCC) Business Division hosted the inaugural high school business division competition on the Shoals campus for approximately 110 students from 12 area high schools on Monday (10/2).
Area high school students competed in 11 areas: Advertising Design, Bank Reconciliation, Cover Letter, Electronic Spreadsheet, Financial Statements, Job Interview, Keyboarding, Payroll Accounting, PowerPoint, Résumé and Word Processor.
Competing schools consisted of: Allen Thornton Career Technical Center, Central High School (Florence), Colbert County High School, Colbert Heights High School, Franklin County Career Technical Center, Lawrence County High School (Ala.), Lawrence County Technology Center (Ala.), Lexington High School, Muscle Shoals High School, Rogers High School, Russellville High School and Vina High School.
