Arrest Made In Sheffield Shooting

SHEFFIELD-The Sheffield Police Department has made an arrest in the shooting of a 57-year-old Florence man on Saturday, September 30.

Dennis Terrill Nunnery, 43 of Southeast 20th Street, Sheffield has been arrested and charged with first-degree assault, attempted murder and shooting into an occupied vehicle.

 

According to investigators the victim was shot while sitting inside his car in front of his residence.  The victim informed authorities who the shooter was and Nunnery was held until charged on Tuesday, October 3.

Nunnery is being held in the Colbert County Jail on bail of $100,000 for each of the three charges.
