Wallace Harris – Obituary

Wallace Harris passed away Wednesday morning, September 27, 2017, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems Pulaski. He was born February 13th, 1932 in Giles County and was 85 years old.
He was a member of the Odd Fellows Hall Church of Christ and retired from the Marimont Gabriel Corporation. Wallace was an Army Korean War veteran, a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
Visitation will be 4 o’clock until 8 o’clock Thursday, September 28, 2017, at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be 10:00am Friday, September 29, 2017, in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral home with Bro. Randy Jones and Bro. Randy Kersey officiating.
The burial with full military honors will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Odd Fellows Hall Scholarship Fund, 1875 Odd Fellows Hall Road, Pulaski, TN. 38478
He was preceded in death by his parents Johnnie B. and Ella McNeese Harris. Wife Carolyn Hill Harris. Daughter Emily Harris Grisham. His sister Dudley Lee along with his brother Daryl Harris.
He is survived by;
Daughter, Deborah (Steve) Bledsoe of Pulaski.
Son, Wendell (Amy) Harris of Pulaski.
Sister, Brenda Graves of Pulaski
6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 3 step-great-grandchildren.
Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.

Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Wallace Harris.
